Right after our Jamaican vacation, we scooped up JP’s sister for a week long of sisterly bonding. Sunday night we headed over to First Midwest Bank Amphitheater in Tinley Park, IL for the Kelly Clarkson and Maroon 5 concert. I’ve been to FMBA so many times in my life – seriously, even when it was called the Tweeter Center, that it’s so weird that it has a completely new name, yet looks EXACTLY the same. Some of the acts I’ve seen there? Warped Tour, Usher, Chris Isaak with Natalie Merchant, Aerosmith, and Sara Bareilles.
This was my second time seeing Kelly Clarkson and she was great. The girl totally has some amazing pipes and it’s awesome to see how happy she is now. Her encore performance was my favorite part where she sang “People Like Us.” I was able to capture her hit, Since You Been Gone:
After Kelly, Maroon 5 came on and they had a great show too. I’m not a huge Maroon 5 fan, but they definitely put on a great show with a lot of hits to sing along to. Overall, a really fun night!
